This warranty outlines our promise to you regarding the leather used in your upholstery.

1. Australian Statutory Rights:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to automatic guarantees that your leather is of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and matches its description. These statutory rights provide coverage for structural defects but generally do not extend to damage caused by normal usage.

2. Scope of Warranty:

This specific manufacturer’s warranty applies exclusively to faulty materials and is limited to defects arising from tanning or finishing deficiencies in the supplied leather.

3. Exclusions: Fair Wear and Tear:

To maintain the integrity of our service, this warranty excludes fair wear and tear. Leather is a natural material that will evolve over time; changes in appearance resulting from regular use, age, or environmental exposure are considered part of the product's life cycle and are not covered.

4. Natural Characteristics (The Mark of Authenticity):

True leather is a product of nature, and its beauty lies in its unique history. Tanning and finishing faults do not include naturally occurring marks, which are sought-after features that distinguish genuine leather from synthetic imitators. The following irregularities are considered characteristics of the material rather than defects:

- Healed scars, scratches, and insect bites
- Brands and identification marks
- Stretch marks, fat wrinkles, and growth lines
- Veining patterns and visible pore structures
- Variations in grain texture and natural colour shading across the hide

5. Claims and Assessment:

We take every concern seriously. Each warranty claim will be individually assessed by our team. Following this assessment, we will determine, at our discretion, whether the goods in question shall be repaired or replaced, in part or in full.

Our approach to sustainability is holistic. It begins on the farm, continues through the tannery, and extends to how we package and deliver the final hide to you.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s leading environmental certification for the leather manufacturing industry. They set the Audit Standards that allow manufacturers to be assessed and certified—a rigorous process that recognizes best practices and drives continuous improvement across the industry.

Our suppliers membership and adherence to the LWG Gold Standard reflects our dedication to sourcing leather exclusively from manufacturers that are audited and certified. This ensures that every hide we supply comes from a supply chain committed to energy efficiency, reduced water usage, and safe chemical management.

Origin: We source hides where animal welfare and environmental regulations are among the strictest in the world, this ensures cleaner raw skins that require less processing.

Traceability: We maintain full traceability from the farms where the cattle are reared to the hides delivered to your door.

Species Protection: We strictly ban the use of exotic animal skins and any species listed on the CITES or IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

Clean Chemistry and Production

Our tanneries operate under ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, going beyond simple compliance to lead the world in bio-sensitive practices. We are committed to the health of both people and the planet through:

REACH Compliance: All our leathers comply with REACH specifications, ensuring the absence of harmful substances.

PFAS-Free: Our leathers are produced without the use of PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances), ensuring they are free from these persistent environmental pollutants.

Water Stewardship: Our partners utilize purification plants capable of cleaning 97–99% of wastewater, allowing it to be recycled and reused in production.

Chemical Safety: We contribute to the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) guidelines. Our processes utilize water-based finishes to limit VOC emissions, and we ensure our leathers are free from Chromium VI, solvents, PCP, Cadmium, and AZO dyes.

Return Window

All return requests should be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date.

After 30 Days: Requests made beyond this window are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Lot Consistency: Because our inventory consists of rotating stock dye batches, we may be unable to accept returns on older items that no longer match our current internal batches. Acceptance of late returns may be subject to a higher restocking fee.

Item Condition

To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original, unused condition. Items must not have any cuts, tears, or physical damage. Items that do not meet these standards upon inspection will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Shipping & Logistics

Return shipping costs are at the full expense of the customer.

Shipping Labels: For your convenience, we can provide a return shipping label upon request. If you choose this option, the cost of the label will be deducted from your final refund amount.

Assessment & Processing

Once your returned items are received at our facility, they will undergo assessment to ensure they meet our quality requirements.

Approval: Once the return is okayed, we will process your credit.

Restocking Fee: Please note that a restocking fee applies to all returned items. This amount is assessed on a case-by-case basis and will be communicated to you during the request process.
